Athletically, what was the toughest part about making the transition from senior year of high school to freshman year of college? >> "Getting into the lifting program our strength coach had for us."
And what about academically? >> "Managing time, and focusing in every class."
How did you select your college? Were you recruited? And if so, what was the recruiting process like for you?
>> "I was given a scholarship, and the recruiting process was stressful but fun."
What did you do to prepare yourself the summer before you went off to college for the first time? >> "I started lifting heavily, working out to condition my body for the college level."
In season, what was a daily routine for you? >> "Wake up, eat, and go to lift, class, class, practice, study."
What, if any, academic aide was available to you? (Did you have team tutors, mandatory study halls, etc).
>> "We had mandatory study hall and tutoring for those who needed it."
What tips do you have for students regarding time management? >> "Use your time wisely."
What advice do you have for high school students looking to play a sport in college? >> "Be prepared for it to be demanding, but it is the best time of your life."
